About CAH

Central Asian Hub, or CAH, is a community at NYU dedicated to celebrating, preserving, and sharing the diverse cultures of Central Asia. We bring students together through cultural, social, educational, and professional events that create opportunities to connect, learn, and build community.

CAH is open to everyone. You do not have to be Central Asian or have any prior connection to the region to join. We welcome and encourage students of all identities and backgrounds who are interested in exploring Central Asian cultures, traditions, histories, and contemporary experiences.

At its core, CAH is about belonging, cultural exchange, and bringing people together. Whether Central Asia is your home, part of your heritage, or a region you are discovering for the first time, you are always welcome here.

Our mission

“The mission of the organization shall be to preserve and promote Central Asian culture, foster a sense of community among Central Asian students, and provide a platform for cultural exchange at New York University.”
— Meruyet, Founder of CAH
